pt Asset Services
Property asset management plans provide the vehicle by which future investment needs are assessed, criteria for prioritisation of work are set and informed decisions on local spending priorities made. The planning process involves assessing existing premises, identifying needs - building condition, statutory compliance and functional suitability - determining priorities; appraising options, implementation and review.
pt are leading suppliers of building condition surveys, advising on business planning of property assets, strategic estate planning, cost modelling and planned building maintenance.
We have project managed over 120 major surveys nationwide in social housing, healthcare, government, defence, education, commercial, leisure, and retail. We understand the constantly evolving needs of business, the impact of regulatory change, and the integration of information required for asset management. Our methodology is entirely database driven.
pt can meet the demanding information needs of the social housing sector. We have a specialist multi-skilled team of building surveyors and services engineers who can inspect and assess planned maintenance needs, decent homes/WHQS, energy use and conservation, asbestos, accessibility and lifetime housing standards, HQS, water and fire risk assessments, HHSRS, sustainability and Ecohomes, and neighbourhood environments. All our surveyors hold P402 certificates for conducting asbestos surveys and are domestic energy assessors.
We have experience of a broad range of major commercial surveys. Examples include school AMPs; surveys to provide EMS data in higher education; establishing and managing backlog maintenance in healthcare; asbestos management plans, surveys and monitoring for local authorities; fire safety risk assessments for corporate buildings; and audits for inclusive environments for clinics, surgeries and health centres. We are now qualified to provide Energy Performance Certificates of both Type 3 and type 4 buildings and Display Energy Certificates.
Survey information is gathered electronically and can be delivered in a variety of formats. Our team has experience of using third party software and hardware to collect data.
