Ian Foster
Associate Director
Ian is a member of CIBSE, a highly experienced mechanical and electrical
services engineer who has worked in both public and private sectors. A rare combination
of disciplines which is extremely valuable in understanding building services implications.
His experience covers the design and specification of schemes for heating, ventilation,
air conditioning, power and lighting and covers a variety of building types including
hospitals, leisure, commercial and educational buildings. Ian has worked on condition
surveys of Building Services installations for Oxford University, leisure centres
for London Borough of Islington and many local authorities and commercial organisations.
He is also a qualified CDM Coordinator, as well as qualified (BOHS P402) and experienced
in building surveying and bulk sampling for asbestos and has become
pt’s low carbon consultant.
