Lifespan-Housing shown off at Welsh Conference

Property Tectonics’ Lifespan-Housing software was exhibited at Welsh Maintenance and Development Conference on the 16th and 17th October 2008. The stand attracted considerable interest and many visitors were particularly interested in the unique integration of pt’s energy software Lifespan-RdSAP within the comprehensive Lifespan-Housing package. Property Tectonics is one of only a few providers to have government approved energy software; pt is also an energy software partner of the RICS under its Accreditation Scheme.

There was also considerable excitement generated over the new EcoHomes module within Lifespan-Housing and many were interested in the Ecohomes project being undertaken by BRE and pt in collaboration with the Welsh Assembly - See our news pages. EcoHomes assessments are going to become a necessary requirement in social housing as the government and society at large raises its awareness and desire to see more environmentally friendly homes. The conference was a great success and pt was delighted to have been there. Property Tectonics staff were also pleased to see many of their customers at the conference and it gave the opportunity to exchange notes on what is happening in the Welsh social housing arena and discuss potential developments of Lifespan-Housing.
