World Class Eye Hospital Appoints Property Tectonics

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the world's leading centres for eye health providing help to people with a wide range of eye problems from common complaints to rare conditions which cannot be treated anywhere else in the UK.

Property Tectonics (pt) is acting as lead consultant in the upgrading and modernisation of eight of its outpatient clinics. The scheme, which will cost over £1.3m, will bring improved and more comfortable waiting areas and improved circulation around each of the clinics and provide better amenities and toilet facilities. The whole exercise has to be done with minimum disruption to staff and patients whilst maintaining as near as possible to "business as usual" at all times. To do this pt will carry out a complex process of temporary relocations of each of the clinics to other parts of the hospital and operate a fast track approach to minimize the use of temporary accommodation.
