Property Tectonics upgrades Botanical Gardens for Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year Property Tectonics (pt) has been awarded the task of undertaking improvements and repairs to Liverpool University’s Botanical Gardens, as part of Livepool’s Capital of Culture. Ness Gardens, widely known as the Botanical Gardens are an important part of Liverpool’s heritage, and were built by cotton merchant Arthur Kiplin Bulley in the late 1900’s. The gardens became famous for introducing new species of plants from all over the world and have become immensely popular with members of the public and botanists alike. Following World War Two, the magnificent 18.4 Hectare site fell into disrepair and has been steadily improved over the past several years. As part of Liverpool’s year of culture, further repairs and improvements are being carried out and pt is helping to give the attraction a new lease of life.
