pt Building Standards celebrates continuing customer success with Pets at HomeA new decade marks our continued relationship with the leading pet retailer Pets at Home, who currently have 240 stores across the UK.
At Pets at Home they aim to offer the ultimate pet shop experience. pt Building Standards has been part of the supply chain for over six years helping to deliver flagship stores throughout England and Wales. pt Building Standards offer Pets at Home, not only building regulation approval, but value management and ways in which the end user has a product fit for purpose in the future. Areas such as fire safety and access to and within the stores are fundamental to the store being a success. In 2007, Pets at Home asked the Carbon Trust to look at ways in which they could use less energy. pt Building Standards have worked closely with Pets at Home and North West Design to look at ways in order to achieve this goal, such as improving the lighting specification. The retailer has heavily invested in this area, and they are already seeing a major reduction in the amount of power they consume. pt Building Standards look forward to working with Pets at Home in the future to deliver a quality service which helps to produce quality stores.
