Property Tectonics Awards Prize To Top Salford University Student

Charlotte France receives the Christopher Thompson Memorial Prize from Gillian and Robert Thompson.
Property Tectonics sponsors a prize in memory of Christopher Thompson who died in October 1996. Chris Thompson worked for pt and was a Salford Graduate in Building Surveying. The Memorial Prize is presented each year to a student graduating with a BSc(Hons) Building Surveying degree and who in the opinion of the course staff has made the most significant all round contribution to the life of the course. Chris Thompson as an undergraduate was the Chairman of the Student Society.
The prize was presented on behalf of pt by the late Christopher Thompson’s wife, Gill and their son, Robert at the school's annual graduation and prize giving ceremonies on 20th July. The prize winner was Charlotte France and she was presented with a cheque and a certificate. Robert is currently studying hard for his A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computing having achieved 5 A* and 3 A’s in his GCSEs. He is hoping to attend the University of Sheffield to study Maths next year.
Property Tectonics (pt) has had continuous close links with Salford University's School of The Built Environment since the Company was formed in 1987; Managing Director Trevor Mole is a Visiting Professor in the School.
