pt’s energy team expandspt welcomes Patrick Nicholls who has been appointed as an energy engineer in pt’s ever expanding energy team. Patrick is an Oxford graduate with a Masters in mechanical engineering and has several years experience in the construction industry working as a building services design engineer. He is particularly interested in low carbon solutions and is looking forward to applying his skills and experience in building energy modelling within pt. Patrick will be working alongside Etienne Humphries and pt’s software developers to bring real energy and environment solutions to our customers. His high level mathematical and engineering skills will be a useful addition to the team in designing analysis and simulation tools with a practical application. Patrick has hit the ground running in his first week at pt testing pt’s new SBEM graphical design interface software, Lifespan SBEM Gdi. The software will revolutionise the preparation and production of commercial energy performance certificates; through its fast, simple and very user friendly interface.
