pt Energy and Environment is a fast developing area of Property Tectonics' business owing largely to Energy issues which have recently gained a higher profile throughout the industry and we can provide energy performance certificates, display energy certificates, air conditioning inspections for all your commercial, domestic and social housing needs.

This has been primarily due to Legislation driven factors inherited from the EU’s Energy Performance of Building Directive but increasingly through customer driven concerns resulting from higher energy costs and the desire for greater efficiency.

Thanks to experience in performing large scale energy surveys for over a decade, pt lead the way for surveyor orientated software solutions for both energy and environmental applications as part of our Lifespan Suite. This has positioned us to become one of only a handful of providers to offer Government approved Energy Performance Certificates software for domestic and non-domestic applications.

As testament to pt’s understanding and ongoing commitment to environmental practices we maintain ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) status and consult tools such as BREEAM to ensure best practice whilst employing CIBSE Certified Low Carbon Consultants.

This ensures we can actively serve all our customers needs for services relating to both legislative requirements and more specific interests, particular to the individual customer.

• Produce Display Energy Certificates (DEC) in order for public bodies to comply with new legislation.
• Provide advice from in-house Low Carbon Consultants, forming an appraisal with tangible figures and targets to record the effects of environmental efforts.
• Perform full Environmental Assessments in order to recommend improvements which can be followed through into future operations. These cover a wide range of topics from the location of a business to the source of their consumables.
• Perform Air Conditioning Inspections to meet with Government standards
