Stuart Holt retires after 50 years service

Stuart Holt, founding Director and Chairman of pt Building Standards (ptBS) retired on 10th October after working in the construction industry for over 50 years. Stuart is a past president of the Institute of Building Control prior to its merger with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Stuart received a MBE in 1988 for services to the construction industry and served on the Construction Industry Council’s Management Board until 2001.

Stuart was presented with gifts from staff at pt’s 21 year celebrations in Manchester on the 30th October by Group Managing Director Trevor Mole who said "Stuart’s contribution to building control in England & Wales had been considerable; he had been the right man, in the right place, at the right time." He went on to thank Stuart for all his hard work for pt BS and said "Stuart is leaving ptBS in good shape with an excellent customer base and working on some of the biggest projects in the North West".
