Property Tectonics gets Multi-Faceted for Primary Care Trust

When Stockport Primary Care Trust’s Finance Director, Ray Goodier, wanted asset management support he turned to Property Tectonics (pt). The PCT required expert and independent advice on the condition and suitability of their existing building portfolio.

Property Tectonics had undertaken a similar commission for the PCT five years ago when they last required this service and pt had the available expertise to provide the necessary strategic advice as well as the technical aspects of the survey. Survey elements included full measured surveys, detailed condition, disabled access, fire regulation, functional suitability and space utilisation. Much of the survey was undertaken using the NHS Estates’ LIFT Audit Toolkit. The detailed condition was reported using an asset management toolkit bespoked to the PCT’s personal requirements. The PCT’s legionella and asbestos policies were reviewed as part of the overall commission using pt's in-house approved accrdited inspectors.
