Property Tectonics & Sterling Accreditation have recently launched their PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessor Course. The unique course lead by Dr Richard Fitton of Salford University brings together experience and know how from academe, professional practice, energy software engineering and assessor accreditation.
Anyone can attend the course as it provides a good grounding in the requirements of PAS2035, but if you want to be a retrofit assessor (RA) then in addition to completing the course you will also need to qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). This is a PAS2035 and TrustMark requirement and is needed for you to register as a Retrofit Assessor with Sterling Accreditation or another accreditation scheme.
The first cohort of ten people attended the on-line course on 8th & 9th October and rated the course as ‘excellent’. We have received great feedback:
“I learned so much I enjoyed the whole session immensely”
“Thank you to all those involved in the training, It was enjoyable and was conducted really well throughout. PAS 2035 is huge topic yet Richard covered in depth, at a good pace, and with good discussions and material”
Numbers are restricted to ten people to ensure that every attendee can be involved, ask questions, and play an active part in the on-line practical exercises.
Richard has designed the course content to strike the right balance between knowledge and know how covering building physics, occupancy, dwelling assessments, building condition, heritage buildings, advice, and reporting.
The next course is scheduled for 5th & 6th November 2020 and beyond. Anyone is interested in attending then please book via the following link:
